The Sûreté du Québec wants to raise public awareness about a wave of catalyst thefts in the Laurentians in recent weeks. More than ten cases are currently under investigation by police officers. In the vast majority of cases, sport utility vehicles are allegedly targeted by the criminals. Thefts occur both in public parking lots and near private residences.

If you observe a person with unusual behavior, note a brief description of the person: sex, approximate age, colour of clothing and any distinguishing marks, such as tattoos, scars, clothing or jewellery. For vehicles, first note the license plate number, make and colour. You can contact the police immediately by calling 310-4141 or *4141.
