custom_padding=&#8221;||15px||false|false&#8221; border_width_all=&#8221;0px&#8221; border_width_bottom=&#8221;1px&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Elected officers are paid under the Wages for Elected Municipal Representative Act which regulates the remuneration of elected officers, spending allowances, indexation and reimbursements.<\/p>\n<p>Section 2 of the Act provides that the council of a municipality may, through by-law, fix the remuneration of its mayor and other members. To that effect, on February 18, 2024, the municipal council adopted by-law 2024-157 repealing by-law 2018-108 establishing the salary of elected municipal officers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ivry-sur-le-lac.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/2018-108_Reglement_Remun_Elus_CADM.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">By-law Number 2018-108 Concerning the Remuneration of Ivry-sur-le-Lac\u2019s Council Members &#8211; CADM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;REPRESENTATIVES&#8221; open_toggle_background_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; closed_toggle_background_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; icon_color=&#8221;#0b4d80&#8243; open_icon_color=&#8221;#0b4d80&#8243; admin_label=&#8221;REPRESENTATIVES&#8221; module_id=&#8221;comites&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.18.0&#8243; title_text_color=&#8221;#0b4d80&#8243; title_font=&#8221;|600||on|||||&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;||0px||false|false&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;||15px||false|false&#8221; border_width_all=&#8221;0px&#8221; border_width_bottom=&#8221;1px&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Planning Advisory Committee (PAC)<br \/><\/strong><br \/>The Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) is a committee mandated by the municipal council to advice on applications submitted with respect to urban planning and land use planning.<\/p>\n<p>This committee is governed by the Land Use Planning and Development Act (LUPDA). It is composed of at least one municipal council member and residents appointed by resolution of the municipal council. In Ivry-sur-le-Lac, the PAC has one elected officer and five citizens. The term of office of the members-citizens is two years and is renewable.<\/p>\n<p>The PAC\u2019s decisions are relayed to the council as recommendations. The council has the freedom to accept or not accept the PAC\u2019s recommendation. The council may also ask the PAC to analyze any other project or specific request for urban planning and land use planning.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the role of the PAC, please refer to the website of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mamh.gouv.qc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> website of the Department of Municipal Affairs and Housing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>To become aware of the dates of the next meetings of the PAC, see the <a href=\"https:\/\/ivry-sur-le-lac.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Calendrier_Seance_CCU_2025.pdf\">2025 calendar<\/a>.
