\u00a0Firstly, I reiterate my gratitude to you all for the opportunity to represent the citizens of Ivry-Sur-Le-Lac. I assure you that both the municipal council and administrative personnel are striving to honor the actions promised during the recent election period. The protection and conservation of our environment, our majestic landscapes and the quality of our bodies of water are at the top of the list of priorities and will remain so for the duration of our mandate! We can consider ourselves very privileged to live in such an exceptional natural environment.<\/p>\n
\u00a0We would also like to offer you our sincere wishes for a healthy 2022, and the fulfillment of your dearest objectives!<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0With regards to the municipality\u2019s operating budget, we confirm a drop in the tax rate of two cents ($0.02\/$100), however Ivry-Sur-Le-Lac received the new three-year assessment roll at the end of 2021, which will represent an increase in the tax bill for some, despite the lower tax rate. On the positive side, the increase in property assessments reflects the extent to which our magnificent municipality is so well coveted.<\/p>\n \u00a0With regards to the projects planned for 2022, we will undertake the modification of the urban planning regulations in order to implement our intention to promote the protection and preservation of our natural environment. In terms of public works, we intend the complete the reconstruction of Constantineau Road. In addition, we plan to undertake the reconstruction, the installation of a stormwater network, a sediment interceptor and various sediment collection works on Lacasse Road and Mont\u00e9e Daoust. Finally, we will stabilize an embankment on chemin Fyon with a stone retaining wall. The card is valid for all activities offered at the sports center, such as swimming lessons, access to public swimming, hockey, figure skating lessons, public skating.
